ORAL SURGERY

SLEEP DURING THE SURGERY

Oral surgery is a branch of dentistry that deals with the surgical treatment of various types of diseases of the soft and bone tissues of the oral cavity.

Oral surgical procedures are painless. In most of these interventions, pain can be eliminated by applying local anesthetic, which is injected either within the region that is the subject of the procedure or around a distant part of the nerve. Conduction of impulse is blocked this way. In rare cases, there is a need for sedation, especially within the patients who are excessively afraid or the children with mental and developmental disorders.
