Zygomatic implants are a special type of implants that represent the highest stage in implantology. Patients are cases that are unsolvable with conventional implantology, as well as the All on 4 technique. The concept of zygomatic implants is intended for patients who have a limited amount of bone, i.e. insufficient bone. Basically, a patient who receives the information that he cannot have regular implant, the solution for that patient is a zygomatic implant. The patient gets rid of the dentures and gets fixed teeth that cannot be removed.
Zygomatic implants are implants which length ranges from 35 to 65 mm. The length itself allows the implant to be placed in the bones that are positioned much deeper, more precisely in the zygomatic bone (cheekbone). This kind of intervention is absolutely painless because it is done in a sedation, that is, in a state of semi-sleep. There is an option to perform the intervention under general anesthesia.
Speed in work is very important. We perform such intervention within an hour and a half to two. A short period of work carries less tissue stress, so the postoperative period itself is much easier.
